DelayLens uses a digitally signed cryptographic licence based on NIST P-256 (ECDSA). When you purchase or request a trial, you receive a code embedding your name and device allocation. The Excel add-in verifies this digital signature locally and offline. No constant internet connection or license server polling is required.
Each licence covers up to 2 devices for the named licence holder (for instance, an office desktop PC and a portable laptop for site or client meetings). If you replace your computer, you can easily deactivate the licence on your old PC (via DelayLens > Licence > Deactivate in Excel) and reactivate on your new machine.
Annual subscription plans renew automatically each year until cancelled via the customer portal. Perpetual licences are permanent: your software will continue working indefinitely for any version released within your 1-year update window. When the update window expires, you can optionally purchase an update extension to receive subsequent major releases, or continue using your existing version.
Because DelayLens offers a comprehensive, unrestricted 2-month free trial allowing full evaluation before purchasing, refund requests on purchased software are handled according to our posted Refund Policy. Yes. Our merchant of record automatically generates fully compliant commercial VAT and GST invoices upon checkout. You can provide your registered business name, tax registration number, and billing address during checkout to apply tax exemptions or reverse charges where applicable.
